Why I Support Rihanna

Let me tell you now on where I stand on the whole Rihanna situation so that there is no confusion.

I like her. 

Yes, most of her songs are sex crazed and her performances are freaky but she is an entertainer and she is selling a lifestyle that most people are into. Being a celebrity, her life is always shown in the limelight and every little thing she does is twisted into a story for the tabloids.

Right now the tabloids love talking about who Rihanna is allegedly dating or "dating". She was linked to Ashton Kutcher, Drake, Meek Mill, J. Cole, Chris Brown (alleged off and on relationship), Justin Bieber and other random guys on the scene.

Rihanna is a 24 year old woman. Judge me if you want to, but if I was in her shoes I would be flaunting my body and dating the men who you dream about. And yes it is exaggerated in the media to make her look like a whore but just think about all the men you dated or took pictures with in the past year. If that was shown to the public you would look like a whore too!

I like women who embrace their sexuality. Gay, Straight or Bisexual as long as you are safe and comfortable being yourself, go ahead! This isn't the 1950s! Like Cyndi Lauper says "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"(yes I quote songs, sue me) so have fun! Last time I checked her life doesn't affect you.

And don't counteract with the role model thing. Be active in your child's life and they wouldn't have to look anywhere else for a role model.
